    New Beginner's Term

This June, for the first time ever, ESDS will be running a Summer term!

The term will start on Thursday 19th June at 7.30pm in the Calton Centre and will run until the end of July.

As it's the start of a new term, we'll be going back to the basics making it ideal for people with no previous Lindy experience.

    For more information see http://www.hopscotch-swing.co.uk
(we're changing web host over the next few days so if the website is down, it should be sorted soon)

    Cheers

There isn't a planned lesson just now. As this is the first one we're going to see how it goes.

But if there are enough people there on the day who would like some tuition then we should be able to hold an impromptu class.

Even if there's not enough people for a class, we'll gladly show folk the basics to get them going.

This is my 200th post! Wey-hey! And it's only fitting that it's another ESDS plug

ESDS have their November Lindy Hop workshop this Sunday (9th) at the Calton Centre, 121 Montgomery Street, Edinburgh.

We have the superbly stylish Paul Crook and Natasha Hall up from London for their second visit to Edinburgh.

Workshops are offered at two levels, Improvers and Experienced

    See http://www.hopscotch-swing.co.uk for details.

    Cheers

    SwingSwingSwing

PS. There's no dance night this month as we're all going to the Vegas 6th Birthday Bash at Ocean Terminal. But look out for Swing On A Sunday Afternoon on Sunday November 23rd.

    Stubob,

I can't say definitely but if the last two Swing On A Sunday Afternoon's are anything to go by then, yes, there will be a taster class.
