Possibly my favorite shirtwaster striped dress

no :sorry have no idea - but my hair was short very dark brown and very curly and I wore glasses and was dancing on the 'floor' part of the set. I do remember being shoved and pushed by the camera men and I kept tripping over the many large cables.

Bit different to dancing with David 'Elvis' Barker in my Rock and Roll gear on the set of William and Mary with Martin Clunes pointing his lazer beem on us both !

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

Loved some of the typos on this thread.

I'm a world record holder. I refuse to elaborate because any "wow" factor coming from that remark would disappear almost immediately

I also want to claim the title of "Lamest attempt to name-drop on this thread". Through my genealogy search, it turns out that William M. Murdoch served his apprenticeship on the Solway cargo vessel captained by my great great great granddad. Murdoch was the First Officer on the Titanic vilified (unfairly apparently) in James Cameron's film. Beat that...

PS Boomer, I think it's cool that Adam Ant's your grandad...but that means you can't have finished school yet...

I know :sorry - I'd just been watching Airplane and was in "stop calling me Shirley"-type joke mode. Ah well - even if just one person laughed it was worth it.

Even though I was the one person...

My dad and uncle were both in Chariots of fire. My dad was a crowd extra, but my uncle was one of the runners on the beach scene. They had to keep telling him to slow down cause no one could keep up with him.

I also met Chris Eubank in Edinburgh airport. I was too busy admiring his cool shoes to notice him though. It wasn't until he said hello i clicked on to who he was. Did manage a confused ..."oh, hiya" though

If you come down to Phil Duckets 'Stomping' the weekend 27/28 March you could very possibly see him around town.

I led a field trip to Spain once, where we turned out to be sharing the plane with the World Wrestling Federation European Rampage tour. Big lads they were, hardly fitted into aeroplane seats. And to see them on the telly you would think they were always angry and hated each other's guts, but they were nice as pie on the plane.

Oooer! I've met Jimmy Page too! Was taking some friends to Boleskine House (when he owned it) to see if we could view some of the historical artefacts and he came out of the woods before we could knock on the door, yelling and screaming to f*ck off . . . I gather he was nicer in his younger days (and his music was better too!)
