Who's going where? Weekend 6th/7th/8th January 2012

Here is the "Who's Going Where?" thread for the weekend of 6th/7th/8th January 2012.

Please note that, on a trial basis, organisers will be allowed to post limited information on their own events on this thread.

How it works:

1. Suggest events you personally are interested in attending, in the form "Day - Event - Location".
   For example: "Sat - Dundee Monthly Party (Ceroc Scotland) - Bonar Hall, Dundee"
2. The moderators will put these suggestions into a poll - usually around Tuesday.
   Note: The poll may include extra options without event details (usually called "Spare", "Space" etc.) which allow the mods to add events in order after the poll is created - but only if no-one's voted on them. So, please ...er... don't vote on them.
3. People vote, we can all see who's going where, and the indecisive amongst us can decide where to dance.

Note: Organisers will be allowed to advertise their own events on this thread as described in this post. Organisers can post information on their own events in the format described above, but must not add extra advertising to their posts.

No NYE dance for me, family commitments.
But on Saturday 7th, it's the Sequin Ball at the King's Hall, Herne Bay, 5 minutes walk from home. Just a few spaces left so I'm told.

Looking at the thread this may not affect many dancers this weekend but just in case anyone is planning on driving along the M1 it is going to be closed ALL WEEKEND inbetween junctions 19 and 20! Couldn't believe it when I passed the notices on there tonight but it's true:

As it's nearly my birthday I should make an effort so I'll probably show up at;

Saturday - Ceroc Passion Freestyle - Cripps Social Club, Northampton.

It's only a few miles away (I'm lazy) and although the music tends to be on the fast side there's normally a surprising number of good dancers present, plus the occasional surprise visitor.
