It was just a one-off (or was for me, anyway). And strangely, I'm not getting any notifications about it, although I don't think I've actively done anything to make it so...

And, clearly, the awards system is just something that a sociopathic washing machine came up with in its spare time.

The Awards system is just a bit of fun, I seem to have a few issues with it, so might just get rid of it if I can't fix them.
I didn't think anyone would get notifications about the Awards, might be an odd setting somewhere. Let me know if anyone else is getting too many notifications and I'll investigate.

The overall idea is to measure a number of forum involvement features (time registered, time spent lurking, posting, replying, getting thanked, etc.) and give an overall score and regular awards to encourage more participation... As the system appears to be quite complex, I'm not convinced it's working as designed

With the new version of the software I have a few new toys to play with, and will be experimenting. I appreciate any and all feedback on the features.

My main motivation to upgrade was the integration with Facebook, as I believe connecting the two social areas will benefit our community and encourage more people to read and post here...

You get this award when at least 3 people become your friends in your User Profile. You probably have way more than 3, but when you reach 3, you receive this award.
