I quite liked the mobile interface but gave up on it since I couldn't see a 'Recent Posts' function there nor an easy way to go to the last post in a thread.

Yes, I agree, the Mobile Style isn't great.

I have just now added a new app for iPhone / iPad / Android OS phones. The app is called Forum Runner and allows you to browse the forum from your smartphone or iPad much faster than via a browser.

There are 2 versions of the iPhone app: Free (is limited but allows you to try the features) and for £1.19, you get the full version, which allows you to post, upload photos, get push notifications etc...

I have tested it, and it's really cool on the iPhone and very fast way to browse and view Private Messages...

I've now added 2 new Styles for the Forum, for those of you who love to experiment, or if you don't like the Orange / Blue or Green styles.

You can now select: Goth Red or Silver as your default colour / style to read the Forum!

The free Andriod version seems broken. It tells me, "The remote server sent an unparsable result. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated." (I'm not sure I believe it).

Hmmm, seems unlikely to be outdated, as I've just downloaded and installed the latest plugin today.
Unfortunately I'm unable to check the Android version as I'm an Apple man, through and through!

I'll check the Forum Runner forum to investigate further.

I could browse the forum runner forums with the app. I'm on Andriod 2.2; the forum runner version is 1.2.14 (free).

Yeah, I had added it but it was breaking stuff so took it away again. Will investigate suitable alternatives!

Just noticed that on people's mini-profiles next to their post, their number of blog entries is on the same line at the 'thanked x times in x posts' info - I'm guessing this is just a matter of putting it in a different table cell.

I hate it.

A one line post takes up half the screen, it won't let you edit anything and the more you post the more pointless notifications you get. Well these aren't gonna encourage me to post more often but rather the opposite!
