Would be great to see you at The 10th Anniversary Champs.

We have a freestyle party night on the Friday, in the same venue as the Saturday Competition.
The Saturday event has lots of chances to freestyle, during the Competition, and then there are 2 rooms at night. Main room and Blues/Chill-out Room.
On the Sunday you can finish off the weekend with the Waffle Party Brunch and Boogie at St Stephen's, which finishes at 3pm, giving you plenty of time to head home.

This promises to be our best one yet and it's definitely friendly.

Interesting - anything worth sharing? You always get one or two that don't like events so have to be careful about being overly swayed by a small feedback sample.

Mind you, it's not like it will make much difference to me since I'm hearing far more positive comments than negative ones and I'm already booked and paid for. I'd have quite liked to go to the Scottish Champs, maybe next year.

I think it's always true that two people can be at the same weekender and have widely differing views on how good it was.

A lot of whether I have a good time is about who I know there, and where my head's at, on that particular weekend.

But obviously there are some things that are up to the organisers to get right, and some that are characteristics of the venue itself.

I've heard enough good things that I'm going to see for myself what Hemsby is like (but also hope to get to the Scottish Champs as well ).

    No - they're adjacent weekends.
Scottish Champs are the weekend of 10th Sept.
Hemsby is the weekend of 17th Sept.

Re: Who's going to Hemsby in September?

6 more sleeps and i cant bloody wait. New venue, new set up, first time ive been to a weekender where the food is all included - not having to drag the whole kitchen down will make for an easier start. Danny not joining us till Saturday as he very stupidly booked a golf weekend not realising it was the same date as Hemsby so Friday nite i'll be hunting down all the great dancers and looking for all my girlies for lots of catch up and gossip. !! Really cant wait to see ya all, soooo looking forward to it. xxx
