    Over crowding at weekenders ?

A number of people mention how crowded it was at Southport (I didn’t go so can’t comment)

I notice some recent weekenders seem to encouraging an open door policy

    E.g.

    ---------
    Squatters Rights advertised for Southport

All the accommodation has sold out at Southport, but if you have a friend who has already booked an apartment and can accommodate you, then for £99 (per person) you can enjoy the event
    --------------------------

If you had 1,800 there but 3,000 wanted to go it must be tempting to do this sort of thing?.

I have no idea how this would effect venues Public Liability, Fire regs etc.

Camber seem to have a fair number of spaces left a few days ago but now is totally sold out .

They don’t appear to have advertised ‘Squatters Rights’ yet ?.

It will be interesting to see how crowded it is, good weather is forcast.

I hope ceroc don’t get greedy

Having attended around 25 weekenders plus (many with ceroc) I hope they do consider safety and peoples enjoyment.

Anyway I have tooth brush ready can’t think of anything else I need at present ?

    Tooth paste maybe ??

    I hope so too!

But in the recent Southport, I genuinely think Ceroc simply made a mistake.

The mistake being, they didn't count on the Pod being out of action, plus the weather, meaning no one could dance on the decking.
And lastly, in previous years, far more people spent time simply chilling out on the grass having BBQ's etc

IMO, until the POD is up and running and fully tested, they shouldn't take that risk again.

I would have thought so to

One thing that I admire ceroc for is the way they have made the transition from the independents so easy.

When an event sales out months in advance it 'suggests' they are getting it mostly right.
