I am really excited to have my three boys with me at Camber and I thank Mike for allowing this to happen, and as said on a previous thread, these young lads are our future, I really hope they enjoy it and continue dancing after the weekend.
(BTW Jack aka cgull, is already a competant dancer, I was talking about my grandsons)

Great news Minnie and we look forward to meeting them x
As far as I can see from the schedule it is in the pub (which is downstairs).
It may have been in the chill out room at some point in the past, but there is limited afternoon freestyle time nowadays in the chill out room.
The good thing is that the late afternoon class range there looks significantly improved
In the future, I don't know if swingers are like westies but the hurricane room has a lot of space.
A swing class there before an hour of freestyle (which could replace a single masterclass might work well).
There is a strictly jive class (semi ballroom jive I believe) upstairs an hour and a half before the hour, but having them in the same room and the room having plenty of space would be an advantage.

pub .....downstairs ??????? You have to go 'up' from the Cyclone Zone
When was the last time you went Camber
However, how disappointing. I thought it would be in the Cyclone Dance Zone, it was last year, it is so popular so there is lots of room to dance there. AND ............ it is only on on Sunday !
I really don't like dancing in the pub, the dance area is far too small and you feel as if you are 'performing'
- SUNDAY
- The Boudoir (Which is the pub)
- Swingers Hour (Mike)
- Swing Freestyle 3.30-5pm

Why not check your dictionary.
Popularity is relative. A better venue always makes less popular activities more popular.
I don't think many people are really into it, though some people really like it and it may be getting more popular.
That it is disappointing - does reduce variety a bit which is generally a bad thing.
Even the Tango people are only down to 2 milongas.

I don't think Tango would work in the pub at all but not so much to do with the space, as I think Lindy and Tango both need a lot but Tango music in the PUB ... heaven forbid, it'll kill the atmosphere dead!
I'm not really into dancing myself during swingers hour but I really enjoy watching others and I like the party feel created in the pub
