Scorch 11 Food - Bake off?

Anyone want to coordinate recipes for Southport?

I'm thinking about bringing a big batch of my brownies, and maybe my apple cake. Not sure what else to do though. I have enough time off to cook, but I don't want to clash with anyone else if they have specialities.

Advice - any regular bakers coming and what do you plan to bring??

    Cheers WhiteTiger

OK have moved this to the general forum, as I really can't believe that noone wants food / is going to bring food to Scorch!

    Cheers WT

Remember most of the forumites are English WT, it's only the Scottish folk who take home baking to weekenders

It's kinda hard to bring baked goods on a flight, but can I trade you brownies/cake for blues?

Me too. I've got a wedding dress to squeeze into (12 weeks tomorrow) and you got a wedding to attend.

Did you honestly think I'd say no???????????????

(Makes mental note to bring twice as much food)

    WT

Brownies already made. Am thinking about Apple cake (vegan) Fruit bars (vegan), maybe fudge (definitely too much sticky milk to be vegan) and flapjacks (vegan) if I can fit them all in and hopefully travel without turning them into crumbs!

Yay! There are other vegans out there after all! I was beginning to lose hope

A crumble of all the above also sounds yummy, though. Not that I'm going to Scorch

I'm not vegan, but I have 3 different friends who are. 2 are on this forum(Little Black Dress and Aurion) so I have got into the habit of trying to have at least one thing I bring as vegan friendly.

    Cheers WT

Just out of interest do you know who do you know that is coming to SP from the Edinburgh (and roundabout) crowd? Only asking because some only rarely post on this forum even though they are members.

Sorry. I'm not so good at identifying where each dancer's local is. I'm a Glasgow girl, me, and I don't recognise any Edinburgh names from the Who's going where? Weekenders in 2011 thread, but maybe I'm wrong (I have met Londoners in Aberdeen and vice versa! Why not put a thread up for transport / meeting possibilities in the Social events section.

    Cheers WT
