Here is the "Who's Going Where?" thread for the weekend of 22nd/23rd/24th Apr 2011.
---------------------------------------------
How it works:
- Suggest events you personally are interested in attending, in the form "Day - Event - Location".
- The moderators will put these suggestions into a poll - usually around Tuesday.
Note: The poll may include extra options without event details (usually called "Spare", "Space" etc.) which allow the mods to add events in order after the poll is created - but only if no-one's voted on them. So, please ...er... don't vote on them.- People vote, we can all see who's going where, and the indecisive amongst us can decide where to dance.
Note: no advertising: The forum rules about advertising apply - these polls are not meant to allow organisers / crew / friends to advertise events. The moderators will remove any such posts.

Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)
Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
Eynsham Hall booked!!!
No tickets left for the dinner but still available for the freetyle :-)
IJIG 2 Room Freestyle Sunday
Edinburgh Sunday Nights Launch (FREE opening night): Sunday 24th April 7.00pm to 10.30pm @ the Calton Centre, Edinbugh.
I think it's time I got to Sara White's at Buckden - haven't been for ages due to cost of petrol but you have to treat yourself now and again don't you so tomorrow (Sunday) it is then. Late pre-bank holiday finish - should be good.

Had a surprisingly good time at Hammersmith last night. For once it wasn't particularly busy - quite empty at time - which gave plenty of room to dance (though this didn't improve the floorcraft ). It was pretty warm of course, as expected. The music was a good mix. I struggled for dances a bit early on, but got up and asked. Then felt a bit tired (probably the heat) so just sat and watched - and then started getting asked although I was yawning periodically! Had some good and fun dances.
I was slightly disturbed by certain guys who seemed to be doing lots of airsteps/drops and dips. One did a couple on a friend of mine without asking, and she was quite fearful for her back. Suddenly being tossed into the air/onto his hip without warning is quite rude really.
I had to miss the Rugby Ball due to medieval reenactment commitments on Saturday (not compatible with late nights!) - how was it?
