"Curple" - meaning the small of the waist, before the hips or the part of a saddle that goes under the rear end of the horse.
There is also a Scottish word "Hurple" (apparently), meaning limp (as in dodgy leg, not flaccid).

But I believe curple is a corruption of a word (like soccer), and as such many English dictionaries do not list it. respect for the attempt though.

Does it need to be one word?

Well, that's why I asked the question in the first place.

But in the general scheme of things, doesn't the question usually go.... "what word rhymes with....." rather than what two words said very quickly, or which hyphenated word rhymes.

I think we need to hear from Bubble on this having posed the question.

    Oh great! I love disputes!

In my opinion, it needs to be in the dictionary, and exist in its own right as an individual word, although as has been pointed out, combinations of words might work for the purposes of poetry, lyrics etc. etc. Another possible contender is Blorenge (a hill in South Wales), which I'm pretty sure doesn't appear in any dictionary as a word (unless you count this one).

Hasn't anyone else got any trivia to pose?

Continuing the word theme. What is the only word in the English language where changing the first letter to a capital letter changes it's meaning and it's pronunciation?

Apparently nothing rhymes with Month either.
