RIP Gerry Rafferty

Gerry Rafferty died today aged 63 - and sad to hear about his decline which I was not aware of (see http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011...ferty-obituary).

I have danced many a time to 'Stuck in the middle with you'...... always great fun to dance to......and I hope it's played a few times over the next week......

I must admit when I saw the thread title, I was wondering if somebody knew something I didn't. I really am not that old, big 50 later this year

I always liked "Get it Right Next Time".

A DJ I know played it once, and some time later I requested it again from him and he played it (and nearly cleared the floor ).

But I still think it's a fun track to dance to and would love to try it again- there are some interesting rhythms in there.

Goes down well whenever I play it, which isn't very often in all fairness - I find it quite a hard track to work in just right so I don't use it as much as I should. Great track to dance to tho!
