    Sorry to hear that Maxine.
I had a Garmin before my TomTom iPhone app and it was nowhere near as good although my Garmin was a few years old and they may have improved them by now.
I have to say I love the fact that my sat nav is on my phone. I was given the TomTom bracket as a Christmas prsent but I paid for the app using Tesco clubcard deal vouchers via itunes vouchers. It does cost £49.99!!

Very true - I did only say apparently...I didn't say I'd thought it through fully

Errr, that sounds far less secure - you're giving out people's names and addresses there...
Never full name's, just John's or Jane's (names have been changed to protect the innocent!) and I hadn't thought about not using house numbers

I know my house needs repainting but I think that might be taking things a little too far

I do try to remove my sat nav from the car when I'm not in it - or hide it (and all signs of it) if I have to leave it in there.
