Soooooooooooo worried about Yuletopia tomorrow - it's quite a way to Twickers from Brighton, just hope the roads are better tomorrow

First time at Oscars last nite, Simon and Nicole run a really lovely event, lots of lovely dancers had travelled from up from Bournemouth and Bristol
Thanks to Mary for sorting out my ticket. Looking forward to their next event

Yuletopia is on tonight (Sun 19th) at Twickers, running earlier than usual from 7pm to midnight. It's sold out though so please don't turn up on the door if you haven't already booked.
I think we're lucky down here in our tropical bubble that runs from Brighton to Worthing. Yesterday night I had events in Worthing, Eastbourne and Gatwick. We went ahead with everything but it was a difficult choice.
Worthing was fine, almost no snow and sunny during the day. Eastbourne had a lot of snow and the main roads in the town were very slippery and dangerous. And Gatwick was much worse, thick snow and really dodgy. The wedding I was doing at a Gatwick hotel had loads of guests who were stuck in snow and couldn't come, even local people - but the bridesmaids were lovely
For the dances most people stayed very local and many people who had tickets were not there. One thing I did notice was that the balance of the sexes was different - we had many more women over than usual!
I went to Rugby (which seems to have just been on the edge of the band of snow that went past yesterday, so only a little snow).
The gender balance was noticeably skewed at the start of the night - but unlike Andy's event there were far too many men. It seemed to balance out later though.
Love dance, will travel
