I must say that's rather frivolous of you, DB. Obviously, you'll have to watch the news to catch up on organ-scavenging post-Kosovan-massacres etc, but I would hope you would be turning the sound down in between doom-laden reports to read the Telegraph editorial.

Hang on, if you're a Telegraph reader isn't it a treasonable offence punishable by hanging not to be parked by a TV set gazing at the nuptial pair with dog-like adoration?

I think there's a glimpse of DT on the trailer for Come Dine With Me. Red spotty dress?

In 10 years' time, you're going to look back on this enthusiasm and feel really embarassed about how the entire country went loopy. And I know this because this mania is exactly like the Diana funeral obsession that gripped the country in 1997.
Not at all, this time it's cheerful, feel-good mania, whereas in 1997 it was wallowing in hysterical, self-indulgent, goulish, mania.

I don't think you're quite getting the fact that the Royal family is gold-plated, top-quality soap, and the more sex and death it provides us with the more fascinated we'll be. Not that I remember watching the Queen Mother's funeral for some strange reason.

Well, you know how it is, it's not a full day unless I get my quota of organ-scavenging post-Kosovan-massacres.

Telegraph? Jesus, you'll be calling me a Daily Mail reader next.

Yeah, right. Wait till she dumps him in 2018 after catching him with the footman, that's all I can say.
