Jewellery on the right hand: I much prefer the right hand to be 'au naturel'.
Sometimes you get a big knuckleduster and it is not complementary to the dancing experience.
I include bangles on the right wrist as well.
But you wouldn't enjoy it, because I always forget to smile....
Seriously though - yeah - been far too long. And yes, I am. You too?
I like smiling. I am told, however, that I often look very serious throughout a dance, even if I'm enjoying the dance immensely - and sometimes, if I consciously try to smile, it feels forced. So that's me - it's just the way I am.
So if you prefer to dance with people who smile a lot, I don't see anything wrong with that. Don't assume, however, that anyone not smiling isn't having fun, or that it's an important part of the dance.
Monkeys.
You are right and perhaps I should revise my comments a little.
There is a difference though I think between not smiling and looking like you'd rather not be there (I don't mean you personally), or rather not be dancing with that person and spending the whole dance staring into space or around the room at everyone else. That I think is rude.
God's time?
Holy tops?
Am I on the right forum?

Done already! The great thing about the Dance of Misery is that one's facial expression is kept secret, from your partner at least. And in open embrace all that tedious eye contact is unnecessary because my concentration is entirely fixed on the third button down of his shirt.
