Sounds interesting, is it ticket-only? Last time I went to a Chiswick twixmas even it was rammed...

I don't usually go dancing on NYE, the fun to cost ratio is too uncertain. And I hate dressing up. So I'll be at a party with muggle friends and maybe ringing the New Year in too.

If anyone is going to the Rock Bottoms NYE event in Bedford I have a spare family room in the Bedford Premier Inn (Priory Marina) going for £29

Well you know me, I'm an edgy kind of guy.

Funny the explosion of Twixmas events over the past few years - I remember 10 years ago there was almost nothing on, I was reduced to travelling to Bedford with Gus to find a MJ event. Now, you can't throw a brick without hitting one.

I think the AT scene needs to catch up on that score, there's not much on; which is why I'm looking at MJ-ing during that time.

We all need to go dancing after the Christmas lay off. I'm tempted to try out a Boxing day dance.

On the subject of "Twixmas" dances, I've inherited a dance from Sarah Johnson that's she's traditionally called "Sarah's Little Inbetweenie" - before I had a chance to say anything she'd re-named it "Andy's Little Inbetweenie" - there is such a thing as stating the bleedin' obvious

I de-personalised it and re-re-named it the "Big Inbetweenie"

Shame, I'd nearly persuaded myself to go too. Thanks for letting us know though.

    Sat 1st - Ice Party - Cheshunt

Gender-balanced, ticket only, so needs to be booked with Ceroc Metro in advance.

This is a fab night when Robin plays all his fantastic chill out tracks that don't get much of an airing during the rest of the year

Looks like the cancelled Chiswick Betwixmas has now been replaced with -

Tues 28th - Betwixmas on the Boat - London

    woohoo

(Just hope they don't put any weather in the way to stop us getting back from Daventry in time for it).
