    The new Ceroc (national) web-site

.....yes, really... honestly.....take a look for yourself.

    http://www.ceroc.com/home.html

So what do we all think? Personally it looks to me like a massive improvement on the old site.

    - Ahh, the oldies are always the best.

I'm not keen on the colour scheme, but I think the navigation seems better - and thank God they've removed that awful "members / non-members" and "select country" rubbish at the start also.

Visually I think it is a great improvement except for those sliding information squares that I find a bit irritating (am I getting old?)

I like the venue finder –good idea to include that

The venue finder's great, especially for going on holiday in the UK and finding the nearest venue

Animations are consistently annoying to users, and almost always unnecessary.

Unfortunately, the graphic designers who create many websites don't care about users, they just want things to be Good Looking. With movements! And possibly lasers!

If they absolutely have to have animation, then at the very least, they should have some "forward" / "back" controls in the animations, so that users can control the animation.

And if you were you wouldn't appear on the home page of the website - only young people there by the look of it. Very representative of the average age at a MJ freestyle or class

I like the pervy bloke staring at the woman's chest. And I especially like all the text that overwrites the other text.

Can't remember what the old site looked like, but I'd give the new one 7/10 - IMHO it looks a little dated - perhaps due to the colour scheme?

    I have to agree.

After looking at the site for about 10 seconds I was already irritated with the constantly-moving animations, which kept distracting my attention from what I was actually trying to look at.

Believe me, the old one make this new site look like the best web site ever. It was so dated most of the text was in Latin.
