Calling all Cougars (or cubs) !

I have just received an invitation to attend the International Cougar Convention – The World’s Largest Gathering of Cougars and Cubs in London on September 11th and am gutted that I will not be able to attend as I will be on holiday at that time. It looks as if it will be quite a gathering !

Any comments or feedback from existing / potential forumite Cougars or Cubs ?

I’m more a wannabe cougar than a fully fledged, perhaps a puma for now.

I am surprised that you have not cancelled your holiday Sunnybunny for this.

An I'm a wannabe cub - it's just that my cougars would have to be in their 70s and 80s

The clue is in the name, Maxine - nothing would stop me heading for the sun.

(Perhaps my heart isn't into Cougarhood as much as I originally thought it was) !

Meanwhile, I have just had a glance through the "Advice for Cubs" section of the website and found that one of the suggestions in "Where to Meet Cougars" is:-

Dance Lessons. Women love to dance and often wind up dancing with each other because of the shortage of male partners! Take a class that caters specifically to singles or that advertises “no partner needed.” Even if you are the shyest guy on the planet, you will meet and dance with every woman in the class, guaranteed, as rotating partners is the norm. Best of all, even if you don’t meet the love of your life, at least you have learned a valuable skill. You will always be attractive to women if you know how to dance. Most married women bitterly complain that the last time they danced was at their weddings! Don’t make that mistake. Learn how to ENJOY dancing (which mainly involves learning HOW to dance, since you can’t enjoy something if you feel awkward) and you will never lack for a date!

    Wise words indeed !

Am I the only one who finds that cringey?
Its enough to make me feel self conscious about asking any one younger than me to dance, as they may think I'm just looking for a CUB!

Don’t fret Agente Secreto; it’s all relative, to me a cub is a forty year old ‘boy’. You just have to lust outside the box a bit

According to the 'advice for cubs' posted by Sunnybunny, Lory is just doing what comes naturally, as it clearly states 'Women love to dance'. So, if a handsome Cub should cross her path while out dancing, her conscience is clear.

I wonder if it is worth advising the organisers of the aforementioned event of the business potential for a Cougars and Cubs dance weekender. The burning question is, what should the age ranges be?

Everybody's heard the expression, 'I'd rather live a day as a Lion than a lifetime as a sheep'. Now swap 'Lion' for 'Cougar'

Anyway, according to a different piece of research Cougar-Cub relationships have no place in the natural order of things.
