That's a catchy name... I wonder if i can use it...

Used to be the name of a satellite porn channel in the 90's, so I'm sure it would suit you very well... it was also the title of a jazz compilation album released in 1990... (just in case that was a sarcastic remark based on the fact that you, or someone else you know, think they invented it? )

Meh. If you google "Red hot and blue" you get 54,800 results....

Obviously someone must have come up with the name for the first time once. I'm pretty positive that it wasn't anyone running a Modern Jive night.

I also know for a fact that the people who came up with the name in Nottingham, had never heard of any Red Hot & Blue nights happening in Scotland.

the Red Hot & Blue nights in scotland have now been running for 5 years. They have appeared in nearly all of the "Who's going where " threads for the dates they have been on. So it would be fair to assume, that someone from Ceroc Nottingham would have noticed this event at some point.
I'm not too precious about it though, the two events are far enough apart for people not to get confused. It's a good name though....just like Utopia, which if you google it the first 3 entries are for a bathroom furniture group, a hairdressers in Falkirk, and an Asian Gay & Lesbian travel advice service...
