    Terrence Read

I Had to giggle when I saw the footage of Terrence Read Lindy Hopping and doing the Shim Sham while at the same time (not literally) claiming disability benefits.

For a man claiming to be too crippled with arthritis to work, he's not doing a bad job of dancing.

Watch him here giving it large.

Apparently he runs classes and events in Manchester. Does anyone know him?

I know it was hilarious, even the newsreaders were trying not to smirk. Then he had the nerve to apologise for his 'mistake', yeah suppose he forgot he could jump around like a rather withered looking teenager, while he was signing on every fortnight.

    Re: Terrence Read

The BBC website claimed he was teaching Lindy Hop in the Printworks. I didn't know there were dance classes there! I'm driving 8 miles away from that place to get to tonight's venue!

(Not that I want to learn Lindy Hop anyway - I'm struggling enough on MJ. And I kind of like tonight's venue. And there's a nice young lady that came to sit with me tonight and smiled a lot and why did she leave so early..)
