Here is the "Who's Going Where?" thread for the weekend of 2nd/3rd/4th July 2010.
---------------------------------------------
How it works:
- Suggest events you personally are interested in attending, in the form "Day - Event - Location".
- The moderators will put these suggestions into a poll - usually around Tuesday.
Note: The poll may include extra options without event details (usually called "Spare", "Space" etc.) which allow the mods to add events in order after the poll is created - but only if no-one's voted on them. So, please ...er... don't vote on them.- People vote, we can all see who's going where, and the indecisive amongst us can decide where to dance.
Note: no advertising: The forum rules about advertising apply - these polls are not meant to allow organisers / crew / friends to advertise events. The moderators will remove any such posts.

Love dance, will travel

- not worth putting on poll as I would think I am the only forumite going
--ooOoo--
Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)
Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
Sat - Dundee Party, Ceroc Scotland - Bonnar Hall, Dundee
No dancing for me Having my operation on 1st July and will be out of action for at least 4-6 weeks
sat 3rd july spinz leeds
Friday - King Alfred - Hove
Sunday - Stoke Poges - Tea & Temptation with Sara White
No dancing for me.
Saturday night - If I can fit it in I'll do up to 10:30 at the Blaby milonga and then move on to the Leicester Braunstone freestyle. I have to go to a BBQ first, my head's already spinning with the effort!
Poll's Up!
Love dance, will travel
Sun - TangoBooot Camp Workshops and Cream Tea Milonga - Ralli Hall, Hove
Alex and Stefano back again These are getting so popular now - I think this ones virtually sold out.
There's spaces at the milonga I think but let boot camp know if you're coming otherwise you might not get one of their special homemade scones! And there's a deal with the Decadance the next Sat as well; I do like a good bargain
So far, it is looking like:-
Fri - a bit of culture at the Tate Britain to see the Henry Moore Exhibition – just hope that they have cleaned up the oil slick
Sat – Fresh – Chiswick
although there is also
Sat – Red Hot Blues – Hayes (Ceroc Kent – tickets in advance only) to consider
Sun – Tea & Temptation – Stoke Poges (without the temptation, I’m afraid)
followed by
Sun - Berko
nice
I'm not a huge Moore fan but some of the early sculptures are good and the WW11 shelter drawings are excellent (best thing he did IMO). Whilst you are there would recommend the room of Lucien Freud's and "The Coral Reef" a large walk through installation by Mike Nelson. There's also a room of Damien Hirst if that interests you.
Sadly cannot make the Stoke Poges tea dance this time around - places to go, people to see.....
