Hi,

Does anyone know who the headline teachers are for the above 2 events and what genre of dance is being showcased?

Blush with Brent & Kellesse Key was awesome and I thought I'd seen a 'top billing' somewhere, at least for Scorch but can't find anything on the net now :-(.

Thanks for that - I had looked previously and couldn't see any 'top billings' but have just seen under Cabarets that they're featuring Samantha Buckwalter & Trey Ellington

Re Splash, have now read that Jenny & Ricardo are the guest Tango teachers.

Anyone know if the gender balancing discount applies in Oct? Its not clear from the website and I emailed a week ago to ask but haven't had a reply yet.

People in my local class (who got the discount in Feb) are asking me and trying to arrange chalets so they can get the discount, I need to let them know so they don't end up looking silly if they tell people they can get a discount and can't, but equally if there is one and they miss out on it, that isn't good either!

Now I am confused, Tiggerbabe - under the News part of the Splash webpage it says News 15-17th Oct 2010 and goes on to mention Jenny & Ricardo.

Lynn, I've assumed not... don't know why but as it didn't come up as an option then have worked on that basis, presuming that now Ceroc have had a chance to put their mark on Southport, then maybe they no longer need to offer any discounts.

My apologies, Jenny & Ricardo were at Splash in 2009, I'm checking to see if they are definitely there this year, too.

I've assumed not too, but don't want to definitely tell people that until I have it confirmed - esp as there is part of the site that talks about conditions for the gender balancing - I'm guessing they just haven't updated the site...

No reply. But I have seen on the site for the event that it says 'this option has been withdrawn'.

I had thought this but didn't want to tell people for definite and then be wrong and it be my misinformation that lost them getting a discount! I had looked last month and there had been stuff saying those who had booked the gender balanced discount needed to check in at the same time etc, which was confusing. Looks like the site has been updated. I'd already told the people that I thought the discount no longer applied, so now I can confirm it.

I don't know for definite but my understanding was that (Y2) is sharing a one bedroom chalet and (X2) a two bedroom chalet.
