I have been given a directory of over 2000 Word documents, which I need to categorise before they're imported into a DMS and the document titles appear to have no relevance to what is in the documents.

It seems that the document categories are in each document header, so I thought it would be a simple case of using Windows Explorer to search within the files for each of the category terms; However, apparently Windows doesn't or can't search within the headers.

Does anyone know of a way around this?
A macro or a piece of software that can do it maybe?
