Dance Shoe Shops- Milton Keynes

A friend asked me last night would I know where to get dance shoes in Milton Keynes. I didnt but i said i would ask around and find out.

Can anyone recommend a dance shoe shop in and around Milton Keynes with a good selection of shoes.

Might be worth taking a trip down to Carpenders Park (near Watford) to Heavenly Dance Shoes. Should only take about 45 mins drive if that.

We live a lot further from Watford than 45 mins. But Sue always buys her shoes from Heavenly. They do a fabulous made to measure mail order service. I think you need to stand on a piece of paper and get someone else to draw around your feet to get the size, but once you've done that they keep you on file. The shoes really are made for you in Watford, you choose the fabric, design, heel hight, etc. And they are very quick too. This week Sue ordered a pair on Monday and was dancing in them on Thursday!

They are also fabulous for extra large sizes. One of our male dancers has size 14 feet. They made him a pair of dance shoes for about £80.

I live nr Milton Keynes and either buy shoes from Heavenly or Dancia in Covent Garden

I'm sure there is someone who live locally selling shoes - I noted that at the Bicester WCS class I went to there was someone selling shoes and at Daventry events - but I don't know who , sorry (might be worth PMing Rachel for Daventry and JoanneC for Bicester info)

Lucia (Lucy Locket on this forum) often sells shoes at Daventry and I saw her at Bicester the time I was there. Think she is coming to the Weston WCS competition and the Rockbottoms WCS weekend too. Her website is http://www.seksidancewear.com/index.php
