A simple way to describe a whip is that the follower passes the leader twice!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're talking about Smooth Jive?

I have been going to his class in Bedford. It is interesting and challenging to learn to dance slotted. It is difficult fighting muscle memory. I regret to say I am a very poor pupil, often missing the lessons or having to leave early. There has been a small surplus of men most weeks. Tea & biccys always welcome.

I love having a different playlist to dance to, though I am also very happy with our local Ceroc DJ, Roy and Marc at Luton.

Yeah, I quite like that one too! It does look good! The Astaire being my favorite. I know one cheeky follow who tries to fall asleep whenever I do a lean... Not sure whether it makes the move look the best, but it's definately cute!

Lots of cool entrances and exits as well.

One version that I think looks particularly good is called (I think) the Astaire Drop, where the lady is kind of rolled forward off the lean, caught, and brought back up. I can't do it, but it looks great!
