Dancing in London - 22nd/23rd Jan - Where do all the WCS dancers go?

    Hiya All,

Hey hey, its come around quickly!
I'm in london for the wkend of 22/24th Jan
Will be taking sister dancing - ceroc/leroc.

What dances do the WCS Dancers also go to?

I was really lucky over the xmas week. We went to a dance in Dartford, of all places. They had some wicked WCS on that night. I even danced with Fabienne - wow, she was amazing!

    Hope you can advise
    Cheers
    Martin

I'm not sure if you mean you want to go to somewhere where you can dance WCS or you just wanna hang out wherever WCS dancers happen to be dancing that weekend . . .

But anyway, you could try Utopia Twickenham on Friday 22nd - that's always a good night (I'll be there)

Not WCS, but some of the best dance teachers in the UK should all be at Ceroc London's Swinging the Blues workshops and ball on 23rd. Nigel and Nina, Rocky and Val, Simon Selmon, Amir, Lucky Skillen.

    Cool, thanks for that Dottie!

I'll see if my sister will actually dance on the Sat. If she does, it'll have to be a Ceroc/Leroc night. If not, it will be just WCS for me, and I'll be coming to this ice thing! 8)

Does anyone know if the tickets to the above are posted to the home address or if they are left at the door?

I sent of for one before Xmas to Fernhead Rd, but haven't received anything yet.

Re: Dancing in London - 22nd/23rd Jan - Where do all the WCS dancers go?

Marty, Ice at Dorney is pure WCS and is just about my favourite night for dancing (as well as FBM). I would be going like a shot (it's also on my doorstep) but I don't finish work until 11 pm. Paul and Cat do a masterclass at the beginning as well, which is well worth getting there for. Bunch of excellent dancers go there.

It's not that easy to find as the driveway up to the hall is tucked away in the corner - you'll see what I mean when you go.

    Enjoy.
