    Desperately Seeking Susan

    Ok,
this is not supposed to sound all stalky however as we go around dancing in different places we come across people and get half a name and just sometimes it would be nice to find some of them again. Obviously some of these people change their names and emigrate before people like me can find them but hey its a cross and I bear it well.

    So to the point . . . . . .

I used to dance quite a lot in the NorthWest and there was a lady I used see up there. Her name was Laura, She had dark hair 5'7 ish and a bloody great dancer. An absolute dream to dance with which is why I wonder if anyone knows where if she still does dance now?
She was a bright spark used to train people on Mass Spectrometers.

    So any one know Laura?

Iím sure there are many on the forum who know/knew her.
I, for one, remember her well. A very bonnie Scots lassie, a dream to dance with.
Although originally from Aberdeen, she travelled around with her job. She was based in Manchester for a couple of years, then moved abroad (Germany I think) about 2 years ago. Iíve just sent her a text Ė not sure if the number is still valid Ė but if I get a reply, Iíll let you know.

Bet they've changed a bit since the old battleship grey cast iron beasts by Hilger I operated many years ago.

And 'Tell Laura I Love Her' must be of a similar vintage.

Aha! I know who she is, we occasionally see her at our classes too.

She's a fabulous and versatile dancer with a great figure who seems to prefer tops made from a scrap of cloth to barely cover her front, held on with string and wishful thinking at the back - not that I'd noticed
