Modern Jive on this forum. If you were on a forum dedicated to Michael Jackson, I'd take a wild guess that it would be short for...err...Michael Jackson.

It's a pleasant variation of a mugging, such as when someone holds a fluffy toy to your cheek and forces you to accept their watch, mobile, cash etc.
    i.e. "I've just been muggled".

That's a Moob Jumper - A garment that would be stylish knitwear, but when a too-small size is worn by a larger man, it accentuates his moobs and becomes a Moob Jumper, or MJ.

    Re: Terminology?

If you look in the FAQ link in the menu bar, one of the options is a Glossary of "An A to Z of common terms used on the Forum..." which contains some of these.

It's a few years old (done by David Bailey and Gadget, I believe) and it's interesting that AT and WCS aren't mentioned - presumably they weren't fashionable then.

    Re: Terminology?

Muppet mu - pet noun (plural - muppets)

Def - An idiot on the dance floor.
Normally a lead but there are recorded incidents of follower muppetry.
Appears as a tendency to dance in some way inappropriately for the occaision or the environment.
Muppets have been seen doing Air Steps and complictaed seducers with beginners. Muppets dance too large for the available space forcing other dancers to move.

Muppets suffer from zero peripheral vision which is reflected by poor floor craft which is the main sign of a muppet.

I'm sure Craig is quite happy with his Muppetuality, as am I.

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
    Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
