I've just watched the first programme..

I think the programme is excellent on many levels. And as David said, its definitely more gritty!

I caught up with the first three episodes yesterday and loved it. It's a shame that it's only got one more episode to go - it's better viewing than Strictly.

Update on my opinion of 'Pineapple'

20% is very good and worth taping it for.

Louis (?) really makes me laugh and I love all of the dancing, lessons, auditions and serious stuff (although the camera man should be shot )

but I'm afraid gradually, more and more is getting the FF treatment now.

As soon as I see the wannabe popstar's face, my finger automatically hits the button!

It's strange isn't it Lory,as you say the studio stuff is excellent to watch but the three 'main' characters,Louis and the two 'popstar's' are really like Marmite-you either love them or hate them.
I am afraid that Louis' camp playing to the camera makes me want to wring his neck.

I think he's funny, as he doesn't take himself at all seriously, even though, under all the joking about, he's an amazing dancer!

    But the other two

For anyone wondering what I'm talking about, see if you can bare watching this clip, Meet Andrew Stone! :pukingsmiley:

    http://sky1.sky.com/pineapple-studios-andrew-stone

Can you just imagine him in bed.. I bet he's got mirrors and watches himself, stops to lick his finger and comb his eyebrow back and then blows himself a kiss! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Funnily enough, I've just looked through the list and on the 17th is 'How She Move' which I watched on Sky tonight

I almost needed subtitles but there was some great dancing in it and I liked some of the music. I even tried to Shazam some of it but it didn't work

The 'anger' and 'attitude' portrayed between the rival gangs was a bit much but it made me laugh, as I imagined how it might be, if we adopted the same kind of behaviour at an MJ freestyle!

Me and my daughter were literally wetting ourselves watching this clip. We had to wind it back and play it again, cos we couldn't see for laughing!

Louie: "when the music starts, it just takes me... its a form of epilepsy you know!"

This series is about half way through I think Lory...if its the one with nicole Scherzinger from PCD and Pammy Anderson, I've been watching it for a few weeks now.
