Rev Drop and Judith's charity event in Leamington - who's going?

Right peeps, this long awaited event is looming ever larger in the calendar. The last one was wonderful and this one promises to be even better. So who's gonna be there?

Ive been trying to contact Revdrop to book for both the friday and saturday freestyles only. I'm hoping to get a reply from him soon as you cant buy the tickets on the door.

admittedly I did try and phone him on Sunday so he might have been a little busy.

Re: Rev Drop and Judith's charity event in Leamington - who's going?

I am wondering about the outcome of this weekend and wanted to say thank you to Revdrop, Judith and all those who freely gave their time to this excellent event. I couldn't personally post on the "amazing" thread as I wasn't really on top form but that was no fault of the venue, music or anything else as all aspects were superb (I particularly loved the raffish look of the owner who was responsible for the renovation of the venue and appeared to have lived the rock and roll lifestyle to the full including the hair and dark glasses.

Personally I had a better time on Friday night which was slightly less busy and more men seemed to be available and the all-female dj line up was great (congrats to all). Saturday night music was also fabulous in all 3 rooms. Food looked good on both nights and their were some lovely spinny dresses to be seen. Sofas and comfy chairs were also freely available (and I think Steven666 managed to get a snooze in!). In spite of his exhaustion we managed to have a heavenly dance early on - and I got to meet his lovely new lady (Charlotte). It is always cheering to see Juve Crazy . It was good to meet Crazy Shark (who did not look at all like a shark to my disappointment!)

Cabaret was exceptionally good although my judgement may be clouded by the fact that I love to dance with most of the participants. Also a lot of my favourite dancers were busy DJing etc., but I did manage my first ever dance with Ian Selby . Thanks to CJ, Mr. Darcy and KPS and other forumites for dances on Friday night.

Will this become a regular fixture? For me both the venue and organisation are hard to beat !
