A girlfriend from university asked a friend of mine and me if we would chaperone her to a class. she had been invited by her boss and wasn't sure about him. Rob and i said ok, on the condition that we did not have to dance. that was 23rd january 1993. STILL DANCING!! BUGGER!!! will power eh!!

Re: why do you go to ceroc?

There are many reasons why I do Ceroc.

    • I love dancing (after spending years thinking I couldn't!)
    • It's something that me and the better half can enjoy together (we're both too competitive and stuborn to play sports together without falling out!)
    • It can be challenging learning new moves (usually more challenging trying to remember the moves later!)
    • I love listening to music
    • It keeps me fit and is much more fun than the gym
    • I've made new friends
    • rotating partners during class has made me a more confident person in general - previously very reserved, now only a little reserved
    • Even at a non-Ceroc night, I now have the confidence to go on the dance floor (and lead someone who's never danced Ceroc before)
    • Non-Ceroc nights out are now cheaper as I now drink very little or no alcohol so that I can enjoy dancing
    • having two classes a week gets me through the working week - every day it's either "dancing tonight" or "dancing tomorrow night"
    • I can look forward to party nights

Bottom line, it's made my life more fun and fulfilling.
