our last non-Scot was rubbish, surely theres a good manager free
Just heard that George Burley has been has been sacked as the Scotland manager. Who'll want the job? Or take it? Craig Levein seems to be the front runner as far as the bookies are concerned, but will he want it? Wattie Smith and Jimmy Calderwood have also been quoted as possibles.
Do we need to stay with a home-grown manager or do we follow England's and the Republic of Ireland's route and appoint an Italian manager.

Has David Moyes ever expressed an interest in the Scottish job?
I feel a bit sorry for the state of Scottish football today cf Gemmel and 1978 World Cup
There has been talks for over a decade that Rangers and Celtic will move and play in the English league.
If that happens I fear the Scottish game will suffer further and will be more a kind to Sunday league pub football.
Ps that’s what you get for breaking the old Wembley goal posts
pps didnt England qualify for World cup 2010 back in 1980 seems so long ago ?
