Hey

im down in ascot starting the 9th november on a training course and looking for somewhere to dance durning the week

please give me some insite to good places to dance midweek dont mid a bit of a drive but not to far so central london is fine but just not sure of who goes where ect

ive been told guildford on monday is good now just need to sort the rest of week out lol

Monday:
People do seem to enjoy Guildford although i've heard it's very very packed, and the dance floor is tiny.

Ceroc Woking (HG wells centre) also runs on Monday, bigger hall than Guildford, but not as busy.

Friends Provident Social Club - LeRoc, - smallish hall, gets quite busy, - women hugely outnumber the men.


Tuesday:
Dorking Halls (LeRoc) - big hall - average 200 dancers, - Nigel Anderson is teaching tomorrow, - music's usually pretty good and you'll get some lovely dancers in there. I highly recommend this one.

Ceroc Epsom - Nice venue, - friendly atmosphere.


Wednesday:
Ceroc Surbiton - very busy, although a choice between a parallel running intermediate or advanced lesson brings in good dancers.


Thursday:
Ceroc Fleet - Dan Slape teaches there, big'ish hall, not a bad night.


Friday:
Ceroc Esher on Friday isn't bad either, good atmosphere, very friendly.
Ceroc Crawley - more of a beginners learning ground, - very very friendly & welcoming place, not massively busy but a good night all the same.

fab dances rob as always such a fab night hope it stays like that for you all, wish i was there nest thursday but no such luck going to maybe try guildford monday and ish tuesday

Let me know if you decide to go to Guildford on Monday (PM me) and I may come. It's a small and busy venue, the standard is not as good as the late 90's when it hosted some of the best dancers in the country (i should know as that's when I started teaching there), but it's intimate and friendly!
