no matter how rude Cowell is we all know that he is most often right, so there is always a grudging respect for his point of view – and of course it is Cowell’s experience and outspoken nature that gives the programme what integrity it has.
Do you think the creator might idolise Simon

last week, although it was contentious, just about got away with it but with Lucie tonight it was nothing short of a total embarrassment for the X-Factor production team
This was a cynical manipulation of the public vote and in no way in the spirit of the competition. Myself, my family and everybody I have talked to about it since are now going to boycott the show – and if you feel like we do then, please do the same and also invite your friends to join the group. It would be great to send a message to Cowell and his production team that we he is doing is both unacceptable and insulting to the competitors and to the general public alike.
    Oh the Irony!

everybody at work talks about xfactor and other tv shows. honestly I just don't have the time of day for it.

It's no longer a talent scouting vehicle, it's purely to blow up the already inflated ego of the judges and make entertaining TV for the masses by making fun of people inabilities to perform or sing.

The proof is in the fact that apart from will young and cheryl tweedies band, nobody else made it to the big time off the show.

I hear that works quite well for Simon Cowells bank balance.

Are you trying to be funny? Neither of those acts were on the X-Factor.

Shame really - they were quite entertaining on Saturday - dancing missing-stringed thunderbird puppets are go!. Lloyd was only slightly better than his usual "bloody awful" and needs to go asap.

A weak week for Olly, but I still thinks he is the most talented overall. Joe and Danyl were both great. Stacey not quite as good. Its really not all THAT bad is it

As Bluey said they wern't on the xfactor so I assume you mean all the shows like it?

    In that case you have

    Will Young
    Girls Aloud
    Lemar
Liberty X (had a very good stint for a few years, leading on to)
    Mylie Klass (SP?)
    Darias Danesh (west end start)
Dianne Vickers (Now also a west end star)
Mark & Sam (now Childrens TV presenters)
    Ray Quinn (west End Star)
    Rick Waller (TV Presenter)
Alex Parks (New album out next year)

And some I have prob forgotten.

I though Olly sang really bad and think he is very limited vocally. He's only got to where he is becuase he is 'cheeky chappy' and has a couple of 'dance like your dad at a wedding' dance moves. Listen back to all his past performances and you won't find much of a vocal range and quite a few bad notes. His audtition really shows it

Lloyd again has always scrapped through on the teens vote. One of the worst vocalists in the top 10. Even J&E done better performances.

Joe I have never really rated. Sat night he was good but not great. He's not got a very nice tone to his voice, can't sing 'S's and has no stage presence.

Daniel I think is the best one there but get's alot of stick so I don't know if he will make it through.

They are all better singers than me though so good luck to them all (but not Lloyd )
