    A martyr for womens rights?

A 16 year old girl was executed in 2004. What for ? Apparantly for 'crimes against chastity’ , being a victim of rape and having a "sharp tongue" when in court. In fact, she so annoyed the judge, he put the noose round her neck himself when they hanged her from a crane.

    Justice in the modern world.

From a country researching nuclear weapons.

    read it all here

Well worth a read, and from the brief description of her behaviour in court, someone we should all look up to.

The point being of attacking someone's post for no reason?

S38, a rather tactless statement - even for you. We're talking about a 16 yr old girl being hanged.

As to the old stories it is the wonder of the internet, you pull up one web-page, find a link that you think interesting then another etc and before you know where you are you find something that stirs your conscience or whatever and you feel the need to talk to someone or post on a forum somewhere. That is if you have such developed social qualities

    I'm just ignoring him

and you feel the need to talk to someone or post on a forum somewhere.
Indeed - not everyone is always interested, but it doesn't mean it wasn't worth posting.

What happened to that young girl has left me feeling all kinds of emotions, and as a mum myself I feel anger, sadness, disbelief that can still happen in the 21 st Century after all the so called legislation to 'protect' children, what happened to her was disgusting and any the society who allows a Justice system to sanction such behaviours towards not only children but anyone in society is shameful. I am stating the obvious I know, but I feel quite upset by what I've read.
