So wish I was going to this, first one I've missed in ages

Have to admit though that it being sold out made me book early for Storm in March so I don't miss out there too, but it does annoy/disappoint me that as a lone female I have to plan and pay out so far ahead.

I've been every year for the last four years, but left it too late to book this time. I recall being able to book at the last minute for couples in the past. I was surprised to see it's sold out, especially given that there is practically a weekender every other weekend these days.

    I'm very upset too!

I want to go so if anyone has a spare male ticket I'm the guy to fill the place!

I'll try to be very accommodating

Im wondering if there are less spaces this time around.

Remember that Camber is being rebuilt. Have they knocked down some of the accom already?

Just as a side note. Did you know they are planning to expand capacity to 6,000. That is more than Butlins Skegness (5,000 including carvans on oposite side of the park)!!!!!!

    Re: Bliss - Camber - Nov 09

    I'm going.

We always have a group of 4 of so girls who like to book together so we always have to book early, and I'm trying to sort our usual group out for Storm so we don't miss out. It is a pain having to book early, but unless we manage to get some men organised (unlikely in our area as lots of people can't book time off from work that far out), it's just what we have to live with.

Quite a few people from our area always go to Bliss & Breeze so potentially as they add more people to their gaggle that go, with the same thing happening every year, that's obviously meaning fewer spaces for people who're used to booking later.

I have a spare male ticket, but no accomodation. If anyone needs it, let me know. It did seem to sell out reeeaaally quickly this time! Didn't know they were rebuilding it, though. That's great news, as it really is a dump!

Well, I think it was the females who wanted gender balancing, so it is the females who have to plan and pay out so far in advance.

Unless we say no gender balancing.....

    What would you prefer?

    Am just having a whinge!

We do need gender balancing, but having to miss out on Bliss and plan so far ahead for Storm is still annoying. Unless more men book AND there are more places available, there is no solution. And for Bliss, it wasn't a gender balancing issue - men's places sold out months in advance too. Does make me wonder, particularly if capacity is reduced due to the rebuild, if Ceroc could hold even more big weekenders in the south since there seems to be the demand.

Are you saying you want more weekenders from Ceroc.

Damn it all pips it would seem that there is a demand from the dancing community at large for Ceroc to hold more big weekender's in the souff.

Bit sharp with the moderating there me thinks.

I made a snipey comment about Ginger Jive, Jive vee pulled me up about it and I replied with a personal apology to her.

Calm down a bit mods we had it sorted before you came in a bit sharpish there.

So let me do it again, Jive vee I offer my heartfelt apologies for my undignified snipe at GJ, it took a beautifull young lady to bring an old, fat ex scaffolder to act with a bit of grace,
