    Biscuits take the biscuit...

The always entertaining Metro yielded THIS story today, and apart from wondering why people actually bother to investigate these kind of things, it made me think, what silly things have I done concerning biscuits?

So here is a thread for all silly stories concerning biscuits and other forms of confectionary.

I don't think I've ever done anything silly concerning biscuits. Ice-cream wafers, on the other hand......

    Quack.

Not so silly as detrimental to health:

Tested a biscuit recipe on family last night - mmm for my first attempt they weren't too bad, although I think I almost sent my mum to the dentist... I'll cut down the baking time next time

I can't think of anything outright silly or painful concerning biscuits that I did.

I do remember eating an entire packet of Chocolate Bourbon biscuits alone in my tent on the side of a mountain in the Himalayas. I ate them alone 'cos I didn't want to share them with anyone else on my expedition and they were the last packet of biscuits the lodge had. I still have a particular fondness for bourbon biscuits to this day.

I've ben burned by Tea after dunking a rich tea biscuit. I then decided to carry it across my desk, it surivied the dizzy heights of the desk and the the keybord but let go as it was crossing my lap and landed right on my thigh.

A muffled whipering cry of pain and a flurry of activity as I tired to discretely get this molten rich tea biscuit off my thigh and into the bin only drew more attention to me.

Though how someone managed to poke themselves in the eye with a biscuit is beyond me.
