    Dancing in Sussex?

Hi guys, long time no post. I'm still alive (and dancing) although all over the place. I've settled for the time being in Haywards Heath.

Anyone know the good places to dance in the area?

    Thanks muchly

Check out my list for dances - as for classes Ceroc Surrey has a class right by Haywards Heath Station (Claire Hall) every Monday.

You are in a good place for MJ dancing as you have Dorking and Working within half an hour drive, and there are a few in Brighton which is only 20mins away.

Andy McGregor (Rocsters) has a FREE night in Shoreham for September. If you want to go there PM me and I will meet you.

Thanks hun. Claire Hall, huh? Any good?

Right, Monday. Must find my shoes by Monday.

Shoreham isn't too far. But I'm planning a trip up to Manchester soon (to do some gardening for the Grandparents. Go figure). So I'm not sure I'll make it. I'll let you know.

Which classes do you attend? Brighton and Hove isn't that far. No further than Peter Culter was to Aberdeen. Admittedly I don't have Gadget to drive me there any more, but I'll think of something :p

    Thanks for your help xx

Just checked. Haywards Heath is closed Monday? How odd. Oh well, gives me more time to find my shoes.

Woking also has a freestyle every Saturday night, - one this Sat actually. Plenty of venues in Surrey:

    Ceroc:

    LeRoc

    Dance Dedication

One of my favourite venues at the moment is LeRoc Dorking Halls on a Tuesday night, - big hall, good DJ, average 200 a night, and a variety of teachers / guest teachers, quite a few good dancers there

    Re: Dancing in Sussex?

Are you looking for weekly classes or freestyles? There's several things on in Brighton this weekend.

Fri - King Alfred freestyle in Hove

Sat - Hove Town hall freestyle

All weekend - bootcamps (intensive all day courses) in Hove. Blues with Damon Stone and Tango with Alex and Stefano.

Sat night - Decadance freestyle at Ralli Hall, Hove. This always attracts some very good dancers from a wide area. Lots of people coming for the weekend for the 2 day workshops.

Hope to see you at something soon!

Glad to see you've resurfaced - was wondering where you'd got too!

That also means you're in striking distance of London... so you'll have to come and stay with Beo and I sometime. Just pick your weekend carefully, or we'll have you painting the ceiling rather than the town!

Hehe, thanks Twirly. And I wouldn't mind a little painting. I look good on top a ladder covered in paint

Thanks for the information guys. I was at my graduation in Oxford on the weekend, so I couldn't make anything, but I did make it to Ceroc last night in Haywards Heath and I had a very good time! Some great dances.
