I thought I'd start a poll for this one since the summer is zooming by (without much in the way of sunshine ), and October is only seven weeks away.
I think this is the 4th Breeze (?), with the UK Open Blues Dance Championships as well.
So who's going?
Love dance, will travel

I shall be there............and boy I am counting the days already
I'm going. It will be my first time. Looking forward to seeing some great Blues dancing.
We had all our leave planned for this as usual.
then ceroc moved the dates Now we can't go.
Poi Boi and i will be there!!! This will be my first weekender so i know i'll be nervous and shy but from what Poi Boi tells me it'll be great fun and great people so im really really looking forward to it
Judith and I are going. Managed to book the week-end off.
Just to ask a cheeky question...... does 'Blues Championship' mean 'Blues Championship' (to 'proper' Blues music), or 'WCS/R&B' championship' dressed up as Blues?! Seriously... I've noticed an increasing tendency in some CEROC Blues rooms I've attended recently to concentrate more on the latter, not the former, so just wondering whether the music at the CEROC 'Blues' champs will also reflect this movement.....
Just booked both this & Bliss up, - first weekender for me, too...
look forward to meeting you all there hopefully we will sort out a forum meet on the first night in the blues room and crazy shark you will have a blast
one of the (in my opinion) outstanding tracks of the comp was heart attack and vine by screaming jay hawkins if that answers your question
The Music for the blues championships at Breeze last year was agreed upon by OXO, Silver Fox, Marc, Rocky and John Baker. The Music was absolutely brilliant. The DJ's did themselves proud by producing such a great place list of blues tunes. Morris you would have loved it but we can still WCS to it
Thank you I know nearer to the time i'll be so nervous . I'll be arriving late on friday because of work then travelling to Bristol then travelling to Brean.
I hope so and im really looking forward to it After Breeze i won't be a weekender virgin anymore
The competition music is what it says on the tin (there is a competition DVD if you can find someone who has it).
I wouldn't necessarily expect the freestyle music to reflect the competition. Unlike Cerocport weekends, I don't think there is any commitment on the freestyle music.
On the other hand both a class and DJ schedule for both rooms have creditably been posted in very good time.
The DJ schedule probably contains some grounds for optimism if you're going and not into endless WCS music.

I'm looking forward to it. That reminds me, we haven't played that game for a while. I think i'll start it up again I'll be sleeping like a baby on the way back to Brizzle then on the way back to London I'll have to get a t-shirt made saying "Crazy Shark" and wear that on friday night when i arrive quite late
Out of all the weekenders - this is the one I won't miss..!!! Can not wait..!
yup I am booked
this will be my first Ceroc weekender

There's one in Lory's blog... - there's also a couple of "my first weekender" threads lurking around which i'm sure will prove useful
Chances are that I will be there, but unlikely to book until nearer the time.
