or not as the case may be..

However in the same vein as "The Forum remixed through various video games" Here's another piece of irrelevant nonsense for you.

inspired by my very own post.

    I give you...

    "Songs about Forumites"

Simply remix some of your favourite songs to be about some of your favourite forumites

I'll start with this cautionary tale of a new forumite visiting this site..

"(Don't fear) The Rocky" By The Blue Smurf Cult

    Some new posters have come
Posted once but now they're gone
    Trouble doesn't fear the Rocky
Nor does the Scathe , Gav or Lorraine -well Lory didn't fit did it?!-
(We can post like they post)

Come on baby... (Don't fear the Rocky)
Baby make a poll ... (Don't fear the Rocky)
We'll all want to reply...(Don't fear the Rocky)
but you might get a troll...

    "Blah blah blah blah blah!"
    "Blah blah blah blah blah!"

    Get a grip is gone
so you can't post anything wrong.
    Rocky and Deadly Scathe
battle together for eternity...(Rocky and Deadly Scathe)

400 barbed posts coming everyday... (about Rocky and the Scathe)
40,000 irrelevant posts everyday... (Like Beo's geekiness)
Another 40,000 coming everyday...(We can post like they post)
Come on baby... (Don't fear the Rocky)
Baby Start a thread... (Don't fear the Rocky)
He's actually a decent guy... (Don't fear the Rocky)
    .. until he sees red!

    "Blah blah blah blah blah!"
    "Blah blah blah blah blah!"

    Posting nonsense is fun
of jokes, and games there's a tonne
And the last thread of madness
it was clear it couldn't go on
The thread was hijacked and commandeered
Them moved outside and then turned pretty weird
The posters left then it disappeared
    (we're Saying don't be a noob)

Just Post baby... (though you hadn't a clue)
And they ran with it... (then you got a reply)
you posted frequently this you cannot deny
(you had become like they are)
    You got given some Rep
(you had posted like we post)

Come on baby...(don't fear the Rocky)

"Beo" - by The Brotherhood of Geeks.

    Long ago,
a hundred and twenty miles north of Glasgow (give or take a mile or so )
Lived a geeky programmer called Beo
Who met a young girl online and he loved her so

    a Geek was he,
Posted on the forum too frequently,
Twirly knew it would never be,
    Unless he relocated quite urgently

    Running away to London
just to be with his loved one
    Beo
    Running from Scottish Lassies
(and Hiding during his dance classes )
    Beo
    He wasn't strong or Burly
But still loved by Twirly ( I apologise profusely for that rhyme)
    After an employment fright
He took a one way flight
    Although it wasn't planned
He did what he was told ,by her demand. (I'll get slapped for that!)

    Time Progressed
and Beo was no longer dispossessed
Spend most of his with an Online Quest
    to W.O.W he became obsessed,
    And Twirly began to Protest

    Every night WoW he played,
    Running though every Raid,
    Beo
    Oh how the forumites laughed,
when he gave up dancing for Warcraft,
    Beo
    They knew it wasn’t right
    To play Warcraft every night
    Twirly was particularly harried
Would he play until they got married?
    So She began to despair
While Beo played on , unaware

    Engrossed in his vain endeavour,
    Running Dungeons Forever
    Beo
he needs to get back the romance,
    and return to the dance,
    Beo
She knew it wouldn't take long
for him to return to the throng.
What he needs is to go on a bender
    at some smooth dance weekender
like Ceroc Storm at Camber Sands
Yoyo-ing with Twirly again, Hand in hand.

So does that mean you'll be back to dancing again then?

(Well, a girl has to live in hope!)
