Ceroc Addiction Blues Class in Nantwich

I attended Ceroc Nantwich last night. The wonderful franchise holder Maja has come up trumps once more. Whilst the main room is holding the beginners class a second room is being used for specialist lessons. At the moment this is blues but will be tango and west coast swing later in the year. It is great news that the more experienced dancer is being offered something more for their money rather than just a beginners routine.

Having danced at Ceroc Nantwich for a number of years it is nice to see that it rising like a phoenix from the ashes. Long may this continue.

They also do this at Berko where the second room is used for Tango whilst the beginners lesson is on and then as a Blues Room after the beginners review class.

Where there are two rooms available at a venue, IMO this is a good use of resources and allows for more variety during a class night.

Yes Nantwich certainly is coming back! It was really nice to be able to escape and have some lovely blues dances before heading back to the main room to finish off the evening. Really looking forwards to the September freestyle when the temporary flooring will be down to make the blues room a much bigger dance space

I know this is a really old thread but there was mention of blues & then later on in the year about West Coast Swing classes taking place.
Well just to make you aware, Chris Taylor is teaching a taster course of West Coast Swing at Nantwich at the moment.

Nantwich definitely looks very healthy! Lovely venue for it.
Just to +1 in recommending Chris's WCS beginner workshop. Even if you have no experience in WCS, over a session, he has the teaching skills to deftly build up the experience and basics into a routine that would have had us laughing in the aisles if we'd seen what we were about to learn at the start!

Not sure if there are many flyers at other venues promoting this (possibly not at Ceroc venues) - but Chris does a class at Sandbach Hall (J17 of the M6) with Hot Roc Jive. Didn't actually find it out via the hotrocjive site which doesn't seem to mention either, but via uk-jive.co.uk/org-details.asp?OrgID=436

Speaking of Blues - are most events this Friday going to be deserted, as every dancer and their partner head to Southport for the weekend?
