me too, I really like him and feel so sorry for him every year. I have seen a picture of the lady he is dancing with and she is young and pretty!, I am not sure who she is and whether she can dance though lol
Ali Bastian – Brian Fortuna
Lynda Bellingham – Darren Bennett
Natalie Cassidy – Vincent Simone
Martina Hingis - Matthew Cutler
Jade Johnson – Ian Waite
Zoe Lucker – James Jordan
Laila Rouass - Anton Du Beke
Jo Wood – Brendan Cole
Joe Calzaghe – Kristina Rihanoff
Richard Dunwoody – Lilia Kopylova
Ricky Groves - Erin Boag
Chris Hollins – Ola Jordan
Craig Kelly – Flavia Cacace
Phil Tufnell - Katya Virshilas
Ricky Whittle – Natalie Low

I'm hoping that Anton has a partner that can dance after a fashion anyway this year!

Are we going to have a "who do you think will win poll" like we did last year?
He'll always be Ryan Naysmith to me! Yup - I hope he does well!
It's like that every year - but we get to know them...
I know I didn't like the idea last year, but it grew on me. Lovely Lory, please can we have one?!
A quick look through the runners and riders - and my early choice would be Jade Johnson - a long jumper - so athletic with long legs I guess. And can do the training. Has she got it? Who knows?
Although my heart will be with Linda Bellingham (61) - who is the token 'oldie'....... hopefully she will last more than 4 weeks...
(PS What is that bulge in his trousers????)
Like you and Gamebird, I don't know any of the soap ones either
I'm going to wait to see if he's got any rhythm before I decide, whether I claim him as a Londoner or not
Seeing as you asked so nicely.. I will endeavour to do one in a minute (once, I've remembered how I did it last year )

OK, polls up...
but I seriously have no idea who to vote for, as I only think I know Phil Tufnell, Joe Calzaghe and Lynda Bellingham

Interesting article on SCD here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...want-know.html
So.......Jo Wood and Zoe Lucker are known as 'Team tart'.....hmmm....
And everyone gets a spray tan on Fridays when the mobile tanning booth shows up.
And the format:
Strictly Come Dancing runs for 14 weeks, from September 18 until mid-December.
This year, for the first time, there will be shows on both Friday and Saturday nights for the first two weeks. Friday night will be Ballroom night, Saturday night will be Latin night.
At the end of Saturday night, the judges' scores from the two nights will be combined and the audience will vote. There will be a dance-off for the two lowest-placed couples, with the judges deciding who to expel.
The process starts with eight of the celebrities in the first week and will be repeated with the other half of the field the following week.
From week three, the series will move to Saturday night only, with a 90-minute show comprising dances, voting and results in one episode.
The judges are Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli. Alesha Dixon replaces Arlene Phillips.
Former Royal Ballet star Darcey Bussell will also be on the panel for the last three shows of the series.

Jade Johnson is known in and around athletics as an arrogant piece of work, VERY full of herself and not exactly reliable on the big occasions.....can't wait!
How can they justify paying Bruce Forsyth 20 times as much as the dancers? I'm sure they could get a better host for a fraction of the price. (No, I'm NOT a Brucie fan - he's embarassing.)
Me neither, he should have retired years ago, dithering old fart!
I want Joe Calzaghe to win for no other reason than I think he's a dead ringer for Gav. I must say though, I'm also looking forward to seeing Phil Tuffnell making a total balls up of it. Can't wait, can't wait!
I was really sad to hear Terry Wogan is giving up his morning show on radio 2, but at least he's going at a relatively young age of 71 when he's still really witty and loved by millions of listeners, not dragging it out until the BBC force him out for being too old and useless.
I really dont think Bruce could ad lib to save his life.He relies heavily on the auo-cue cards and cant even get them right half the time. Can't stand the man as a performer-an ego the size of a barn door.Probably a very pleasant fellow outside the confines of show business.
Some people have tried to blame Bruce's scriptwriters, but personally I don't think it's the script that's at fault; rather, it's Bruce's complete lack of a sense of comic timing that makes all his jokes fall flat.
I have no problem with Bruce's age, but I don't think he should be presenting Strictly because he's just not funny and tends to be embarrassing.
