Please can someone help a fox seems to have taken up residence at the back of my garden and has attacked my dog. My dog is an old (13½) border collie cross, who is usually quite feisty but now he sits trembling in the house too frightened to go in the garden alone. The fox did actually draw blood.
Has anyone got any idea how to evict the fox?????
What a coincidence.. I came down this morning to find my whole garden strewn with litter
As it was raining last night, I'd put a bag rubbish outside the back door but not in the wheely bin and paid the price. a fox had clearly had a field day.
Oh well, lesson learnt!

I had a problem with pigeons nesting on window ledges above my garden.
The council came and put those needle things on the window ledges.
I have a family of squirrels living in a tree in my garden, but I don't mind them. They are fun to watch.
Haven't seen any foxes (touch wood).
Ps. what activity did you do to earn your medal Maxine?

All great advice, but there's one thing this site doesn't mention and thats lemons (I know, I'm repeating myself, but you might have missed it before).
Cut up fresh lemons and scatter them in the area the foxes are visiting. They hate the smell. Much cheaper than repellent and more eco friendly and all that.
Well I have chopped down all the growth at the back it is all looking quite naked now and have put out lemons as suggested.
For posting too much (mainly on the word games) trying to cut down (actualy playing scabble on facebook 24 games at the moment)
Ok I seem to have found a fox that loves the new airy light décor and sitting amongst the lemon segments – I’m in despair as I now have a dog that hates my garden
Max, if your seriously in trouble, i can give you the number of a wildlife guy who will trap it and release it away from you.
PM me if you need it.
Well things have definitely taken a turn for the worst as the fox attacked my dog again last night this time requiring stitches to his face under aneasthetic and he is in quite a bad way today had to take afternoon off of work so as not to leave him on his own all day. I'm so upset
