We'll be in Glasgow the week before too, and planning to attend JJs on Tuesday and Thursday. Can't wait!
I'm missing the champs - but look forward to catching a dance with you on the Tues at JJ's

I've been focussing so hard on organising my booking to Skegness next weekend (YAY!) and the Midland Swing Open, that I just realised I'd actually not gotten round to organising for the Scottish Champs

Um, is anyone from Glasgow attending the Champs, and are driving to and back from the Champs venue?

Just to be clear, are you expressing doubt that the answer to Chicklet's question is non-zero, or casting aspersions on my ability to lead more generally?

Is it ok to just turn up on the door for this? And what else is on in Scotland this weekend?

There is a pre competition party on the Friday night in the same venue. 8pm until 1am. £8 at the door.

Strictly Sunday Tea - Dance in St Stephen's on the Sunday afternoon, 2pm until 6pm, with cakes for sale and auction/raffle. Again £8 at the door.

All of the money from the above, plus the Competition, goes to Alzheimer Scotland.

ooh, ill go for "general aspersions"

(gah, now i have a comedy military film in my head)

(...it's a cross between "it aint half hot mum" and a "carry on" film - Keanu Reeves is the lead, Barbara Windsor is a wizened old hag (although shes not in the film))

    (apologies to Barabara Windsor)

Don't worry though, I'm sure the consequences will never go as far as corporal punishment.

Even that's ok as long as it's a private practice

I've given up trying to find a partner (years ago!), so I won't be there....

Might make it for a party.....?

Oh I can just see you mingling with all of the green corduroy wearing, weirdy beardy, tree hugging batty folk ('cos that's what we're all like!)
