Oh, you missed all the best ones: 'Cry Just A Little Bit', 'Give Me Your Heart Tonight', 'A Love Worth Waiting For'.

Not that I have these songs on my MP3, you understand. I've just heard about them from other very uncool people with bad taste in music.

If i remember correctly (and I was drunk so I prob don't) we played 'Hot Dog', ' Mona Lisa' and some sort of medley (all his songs are either 3 bar blues or do the onld G, Em, C, D progresson for any musos out there wanting to learn his entire back catalog )

He was there with Elkie Brooks and Jerry Lee Lewis's Sister, Lynder Lee Lewis. One of many Crazy nights at the Hastings Celeb hangout, Harpers (sadly now gone)

Hmm interesting concept.. obviously some branch of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle crossed with George Berkeley's philosophical theory of Immaterialism and Subjective idealism "To be is to be perceived" ergo "to be perceived is to be"

So what you're saying is .. if no one observes the celebrities then they cease to be..

you could be onto something here.

The Bartholomew Celebrity Subjective Existence Postulate..

When are you publishing your paper to Harvard?

    EDIT

ooh ooh !! just thought.. perhaps celebs are more like the deities in Pratchett's "Small Gods" or Gaiman's "American Gods".. perhaps celebs need worship and belief otherwise they fade away and dissipate
