Okay, so I didn't fancy going but that doesn't mean I am not interested in the results.
I guess from some FB updates that Vicky and Tom won Open again but can anyone else fill in the blanks?
Hopefully someone will put all the results on soon!
Only results that I know are that yes, Tom and Vicki won the Open (for the third time!), Mark Winter (Cheltenham) and Fiona (Bristol) won the Rock Vets and Sharon Li (Bristol) won the female) Top Cats.
Congratulations Guys!
Anyone else able to fill in the missing bits?
Elaine

I`ve filled in the missing blanks....,Overall probably the least controversial Ceroc champs in terms of results......I know Tom and Vicky winning wasn`t recieved too well but having watched the open final i really couldn`t split 5 from 6 couples imho so the judges had a real difficult task.....
Highlights for me were
Tim and Jade`s Showcase.....What a great advert for Ceroc
Jade`s Dress in Advanced!!! Got me feeling all hot and bothered.....Good job i was sitting down!
The personal highlight for me was seeing Alex Kvam and Marion Bentley win Advanced.....i know how much work they have put in recently and they are 2 of the nicest people i know so it is richly deserved....they both looked fabulous and were so well suited....more riches to come for this couple....
Finally thanks to all those lovelies who kept me company throughout the champs showering me with lots of sympathy as i was nursing a broken ankle.....i sort of know how Hugh Hefner feels.....
Terpsichorea and his dance partner Zuki came third in the Intermediates, well done you two
And well done to everyone who entered, and congratulations to all the winners
if you love the life you live then you'll get a lot more done
Ceroc vet's
well, done MarkW 1st place partner?
John? and Partner? on 2nd place, sorry not much info.
Tom and Vicki were IMHO the best, and I know people will think i'm bias, but there musicality to each track was superb, no one new which track they were getting, but Tom and Vicki interpretation on the word in the track stops starts, & beat change was totally spot on, and was the best n the floor.
Well, done TOM & VICK you deserved it.
Josh and Dani came second and I think that was a tremedous placing for the first London champs.
The music during the heats was a bit naff but i'm sure the DJ's had there brief and anyway I wasn't dancing to it.
The music during the free style was brill loved the new guy's from France funky style I could sing along but the beat was good, so I chatted to my partner instead. bless his name was Junior and when it came up in the screen Joe read it wrong and thought he was missing a Junior category, next year maybe Joe.
The out fits were awesome I did sugest to Mike Ellard that there could be an award for the best 'out fit' on the day, his reply was 'he wouldn't want to turn it into a cruffs show' I suppose I had to agree, there were a few dog amongst them. (now fletch that wasn't a very nice comment) just a bit of a joke.
Thank you to Kathy for staying awake all the way home and chatting to me, 5.30am eek!
But can they use it?
In the past the copyright of the video has been with the video company.
In their shoes I would at the very least I would have wanted the rights to use the winning CerocX and and a showcase of choice for Ceroc's own publicity.
Having waded through a TV schedule full of junk on Sunday I still believe the Champs belongs on TV.
Great day, well organised and lots of fun.
It was an incredibly long day, it was exhausting and I was only a 'spectator', (I did enter the 'Lucky Dip' and made it to the second round which was fun). I raise my hat to all the people that entered the various categories, the work that goes in to the preparation for the event in itself must be phenomenal but it paid off, the dancing was amazing and the outfits were stunning, Ylianders showcase dress in particular was 'to die for'.
Had a fabulous day and I have to say the food 'hall' was a vast improvement on previous years.
..........and lastly well done to my friend MarkW ...you done it . It was an honour to dance with a 'Champ' later on in the evening, thank you.
What a fantastic day and night. Still really exhausted but high although my body aches from head to toe, so I must have had a great time.
Well Done to my word game friend MarkW and partner for winning the Roc Vets – just brilliant and thanks for the dances.
Well done to Spiky Steve et al for the Double Trouble, I’ve got some great photos that I’ll put on later
My favourite Showcases were, CJ and Yillander (very ethereal) Tim Saint and Jade just brilliant and Will and Kate, nice touch of tango.
Thanks to my partner in lucky dip, Bobby A from Cardiff, lovely guy great to dance with.
Had some great freestyle dances in particular a 7 minute marathon with DTS to the long version of Safari Duo’s Rise (needed oxygen at the end) Also had great dances with Steven666 CJ and Aussie J (great to meet you both this weekend by the way) I am sure there were loads of other forum guys that I’ve forgotten but it’s all just a blur.
Some great music in the main room at times and then it was wonderful to chill out in the marble room to end the evening.
Only changed spelling of Caryn's name.

dont forget Ben and Becky from surrey they won the Intermediates. Well done guys
As you were not there to watch you will find they dance more than one round and more than one track and i dont think any couple go through all the rounds without a mistake, although i didn't see any from them yesterday, so it was probably their outstanding dancing ability and musicality that won them all three titles
and you have won ?
and yes i am biased
