Ok so if you decide to give the Champs in London a miss, how about...
Rutherglen party on Friday...
Dundee party on Saturday...
Do you like Rugby.....?
Hey all,
Its my birthday tomorrow I honestly haven't given much thought to what I could organise to celebrate it as I'd been having so much fun with dancing and sightseeing In particular, I'm struggling to think of something that would be significantly more fun that what I've been up to lately (UK WCS Dance champs at Weston, Le Roc Big Dance).
Current plans
I'm going to Ceroc Scotland JJ's tonight, hoping to get a few dances there
Wed night I'm at WCS class, so that'll be good!
Thurs night, am thinking of checking out the new Ceroc venue (Victoria's club) that Franck mentioned recently.
Fri night, no idea what I could get myself up to
Part of the reason why I hadn't really planned anything for this weekend was that I didn't know May 4th is a bank holiday That begs the question...
So what else can I do for the week, and weekend?
Ceroc Champs at the Troxy on Sun May 3rd. The more I think about this, the more it does sound appealing - the idea whereby I make a late dash for a ticket and organise transport and accommodation, and get down to London. Maybe even have a go at competing!!
WCS events - can anyone tell me if there's any sizeable WCS events I can attend? I'm in Glasgow, so I'm being mindful of how exactly can I get myself to and back from any such event, in terms of transport and so on.
Any other May 1st-4th events that I haven't thought of?
Any suggestions, ideas on the above are most welcome

Magic Weekend - and i know someone with complimentary corporate tickets...
Petal, thanks for the heads-up on Perth and Dundee!
All possibilities are still on the table: I'm awaiting to hear from a friend living near The Troxy and see if I can stay at his place on Sat/Sun night - *if* that works out, I'm very inclined to grab a Champs ticket, and get a cheap bus down to London this weekend!
Failing that, I might go to Rutherglen Friday Focus event, and perhaps the Edinburgh Tea Dance on Sunday
Hopefully I can sort this out soon as its getting rather close to the weekend!
