    Knee Damange

My knee went whilst dancing last night. A real sudden sharp pain. It came and went within seconds and I carried on dancing.

However it then happened twice more during the night and by the end I could hardly bear weight on it.

It's kept me awake all night and 'pops' if I straighten it or bend it. I can only bend it to around a sitting position. Any further back than that (either by trying to move it or by moving it with my hands) results in sharp pain.

    Any ideas?

Our local hospital physio departments have walk-in clinics or advice phone lines. Check if you have the same in your area - will save you a lot of time and hassle in the long run to get it seen by the right people straight away!

I'm so sorry to hear I'd go to the doctor immediately.

How did it happen? Where you turning when it happened?

Just call docs and they told me to go up hospital as all the doctor would do is send me up there anyway.

Well, as my name suggests, I did train (many years ago) as a veterinary nurse
In dogs, it's a common injury and usually needs surgery to correct. I believe it's a very common injury amongst footballers and the like.
