I'm just hoping that some of the DJs were taken outside and beaten about their head with their own smelly dance shoes after last Skeggy, hopefully that'll give us better music this time. DD, Sheepman, Blueshoes and Tessalicious were fab, the rest.......
Of course, I hardly ventured outside the Blues Room, apart from when the music got too bad and I started feeling suicidal, but as main room music just ain't my thing, and there were hardly anyone to dance with in the Latin Quarter, I felt a bit cheated..... But fingers crossed for the next Skeggy weekender!
So having paid up for our first 'big' weekender, do we just turn up and they find our names on a list? Or do we get tickets in the post?
i will be there but need to be carefull with my ribs and brusing so i am gonna take it easy im not missing another weekend lol
Hmmm... Just been offered a place at Skeggy and, coincidentally, the plans I had for that weekend have just been cancelled. I wasn't at the first one, so have no idea what it's like or how it compares to other weekenders. Is it worth the effort?
yes im going to be there
Seriously though, its different, accomodation fantastic, does not have the lovely outside decking but it does have something different about it. Im going to be looking forward to what John and Wes have done to it since the first one and im sure there will be improvements.
Hopefully see you there FM, it wouldn't be the same without the kinky dancing now would it.
Was just worrying about cake.
Whose gonna pop your cherry?
Don't eat all the cake before Little Monkey has time to bring it to Jumpin Jaks.
A lot less effort.
It's nearer to London and the chalets are nice and clean, so no need to bring your rubber gloves and pinny.
Me and Gav went in every day - You gotta pay £20 for a 2 hour session, which means the pond life and the kids tend to stay away and it never gets really busy - bonus!
I recommend the "cold bucket of water over the head" treatment. That'll wake you up if you're feeling a bit flat.
